A HBO SERIES LAUNCH PARTY

Task

HBO produced a summer event series, ‘Mixtapes & Roller Skates’, a 4 city tour roller disco party featuring music inspired by favorite HBO shows to promote the upcoming seasons of The Deuce and Insecure. The event featured musical curators, an open bar, complimentary custom skate designs, a 360-photo booth, and exclusive upcoming season sneak peeks.

Our Role

  • Hired as a multi-cultural specialist for Philadelphia & Houston events (Black and Latinx focus)

GETTIN’ SLUTTY TOUR

SLUTTY VEGAN TOUR

Task

Slutty Vegan (completely plant-based fast-casual junk food) and Pinky Cole, Founder/CEO, wanted to take their sought-after brick and mortar food experience on a nationwide tour. Having the desire to bring their tour to Philly, they needed logistical and production support with their activation. In order to do make a pop-up store they needed to take over an existing restaurant’s kitchen and broker a sales deal with the restaurant. The pop-up featured local DJs and host, hand-picked menu of best sellers, merchandise, and specialty cocktails.

Task

Philadelphia seriously lacked a social scene for young, diverse professionals of culture. The city was challenged with hosting events that could bridge generational gaps as well as be a haven for everyone’s  enjoyment, especially women. Centered around the variety of R&B music, paired with visuals, incorporated live performances and interactive elements, we created U+Me+RnB®️ to do just that. We worked meticulously to create an “All RnB. All Night.” event experience that would become one of the largest celebrations and cultural revelries in the Tri-State area.

BUT FIRST, BRUNCH

Philadelphia Original Brunch Party

Task

We were tasked with creating an exclusive flagship brunch party (a combination of vibrant brunch and day party, typically extends from 11am-6pm or later) option for Philadelphia’s black college-educated young professionals, natives and transplants alike. The initial challenge was finding a venue with shared values and beliefs, and committed to exceeding the guests’ (regulars and new guests alike) expectations, i.e. excellence in culinary and cocktail stewardship and most importantly customer service. We then curated and branded ‘But First, Brunch’, an event where customers feel welcomed and appreciated, catered to in  their musical preference, and allowed to relax and be themselves.
